DESCRIPTION:A BISO – Body In Soul – Afternoon \n\n\n\n\n\nThroughout this afternoon we will dance together\, journey together\, explore an invitation\, a theme. \n\n\n\nThis month we’ll take a moving curiosity towards the Movement Portal of Centring and what may awakening and arising from any of our many centre points\, what may be emerging between cracks\, from nooks and crannies –  \n\n\n\nDiving into the wisdom of our bones and bodies\, our minds and creativity\, through dance and shamanic journeying we will have an opportunity to listen to what may be alive in our systems. \n\n\n\nWe will dance and travel down and along our own vertical and horizontal axii\, from crown of head to soles of feet and from fingertip to fingertip along the reach of our arm span\, opening from there into free form movement exploration. \n\n\n\nAll are welcome\, you just need a willingness to move\, be curious and enjoy dancing and travelling in good company with carefully built soundscapes for your explorations \n\n\n\nBISO – Body in Soul : This conscious movement practice is a map to align with an essence of being that is ever present and travels along the lines and ages of being human – passion\, hope\, love\, creativity\, shadow and growth. Our BISO tool bag includes six movement portals\, the FABRR’s method – an opening to embodied attention\, breath\, rhythm\, movement and space\, the Medicine Wheel\, BodySpirit and simple ritual. Embodiment\, dance\, creativity\, music and community is one way of tapping into and reminding ourselves and each other of the gift of being alive – the opportunity of discovery. It creates such a rich and deep field of attention to one another… \n\n\n\nThrough the conscious movement map of BISO – Body In Soul  – we focus on a different Movement Portal each time.  This cycle will see us taking our curiosity\, creativity and exploration into the question and expression of presence. \n\n\n\nWhat is it? What’s going on when we feel it? \n\n\n\nOur sessions will travel through the Movement Portal of Centring\, alongside the movement inherent in the horizontal and vertical Midline.  \n\n\n\nThere will be some simple teachings and explorations on the Medicine Wheel and simple enquiry.  Each week will open a doorway into aspects of our body\, heart\, mind\, soul\, spirit.  \n\n\n\nSix closed sessions\, €200 for the cycle and the dates are: \n\n\n\nMay 14\, 21\, 28 \n\n\n\nJun 4\, 11\, 25  – no class on the 18 \n\n\n\nAll sessions will take place every Tuesday from 5-7pm\, GMT \n\n\n\nYou can contact me at maracathy@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to come onboard \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:This workshop is an important foundation for any further shamanic study you might want to do. It introduces you to some of the core methods used in shamanism and helps you establish your own relationship to them. You will experience and learn to practice the ancient Shamanic path to wholeness and balance. \n\n\n\nWe will spend time creating a strong\, safe bridge to the spirit world\, which can lead you and support you into your future. The relationships you make with the spirit teacher and your spirit animal are the key to the Doorway. It is suitable both for beginners and for those who want to deepen a link they have already established. \n\n\n\nShamanism is an ancient\, earth-based spiritual path for healing\, awakening\, and raising consciousness. At its core is the sacred image of the World Tree. Like our ancestors before us\, we will travel to the upper world (crown) to meet our spirit teachers\, to the lower world (roots) of the animals\, and to the middle world (trunk) to meet the spirits existing in this reality. The magic and healing of the allies from these three realms can touch our hearts and lead us powerfully into the mystery of what it is to be a human being. \n\n\n\nWe will travel in a sacred space and time between the world of spirit and our physical world. In a grounded and ceremonial way\, we can surrender and become the ‘hollow bone’\, allowing spirit to flow through us and lifting our consciousness closer to the sacred dream of life. We will use the core shamanic techniques of journey\, dance\, song and walk combined with the spirit help of drum\, rattle\, feather and herbs.Shamans always work for their tribe. Over the weekend\, we will form a circle working together for ourselves\, each other and for Mother Earth. The core practices you will learn have a strong focus on bringing back information and healing for the group\, and will teach you skills which you can take home to use for yourself and others. \n\n\n\nThis workshop will help you open your own doorway to the spirit world\, and give you the fundamental tool of journeying\, together with other key shamanic practices. What’s going on when we feel it? \n\n\n\nOur sessions will travel through the Movement Portal of Centring\, alongside the movement inherent in the horizontal and vertical Midline.  \n\n\n\nThere will be some simple teachings and explorations on the Medicine Wheel and simple enquiry.  Each week will open a doorway into aspects of our body\, heart\, mind\, soul\, spirit.  \n\n\n\nSix closed sessions\, €200 for the cycle and the dates are: \n\n\n\nMay 14\, 21\, 28 \n\n\n\nJun 4\, 11\, 25  – no class on the 18 \n\n\n\nAll sessions will take place every Tuesday from 5-7pm\, GMT \n\n\n\nYou can contact me at maracathy@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to come onboard \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n
